Day 1: the business side of being a makeup artist and creative fashion week looks

We kick off on day 1 with Florence Teerlinck (Bryant Artists) with two essential pillars of a successful makeup career: the business side of being a makeup artist and mastering creative Fashion Week looks.

In this morning masterclass Florence dived deep into the industry of being a make-up artist. How to decide which area you want to compell, the key to getting (and staying in fashion week), and learning how to pivot in these changing times in the industry with the coming of AI.

In the second session, dive into the fast-paced world of Fashion Week makeup. From bold editorial concepts to refined backstage techniques, discover how to translate creative briefs into runway-ready looks while working under real industry conditions.

Day 2: bold looks, BROW BLEACH AND AIRBRUSH with Martina derosa

Martina DeRosa is a London-based artist and first assistant to Daniel S. She is known for her strong, dark aesthetics and her ability to transform models into distinct characters. In this workshop, she invites you to look at beauty from a new perspective and to develop your own style with confidence.

The focus will be on technical essentials for fashion, including brow bleaching and the use of airbrush. These are key skills that open new creative possibilities and are increasingly relevant in today’s industry.

You’ll learn how to approach makeup as more than surface work—using it to define identity and create depth in every look.

Day 3: EDITORIAL WORK AND BEAUTY WORK WITH CLAIRE URQUHART

The final day is led by Claire Urquhart (Julian Watson Agency), an experienced editorial makeup artist whose work sits at the intersection of fashion, beauty, and celebrity. With a strong background in editorial shoots and high-profile beauty, she specializes in transforming runway-driven concepts into refined, camera-ready looks that hold up under flash, press, and close-up scrutiny.

Her focus is on bridging the gap between backstage creativity and real-world application. Claire teaches how to take high-fashion editorial language and translate it into polished, wearable beauty that still carries impact and intention—whether for a campaign, a magazine cover, or a red carpet moment.

You will train to: interpret editorial references and adapt them into cohesive beauty looks, build red carpet-ready skin and structure that photographs flawlessly, and refine advanced techniques into a signature style that works across fashion, celebrity, and editorial contexts.
